A Tribute to Yasmin Ahmad.

Here are some of the video commercials that has captured my heart, and of many. I'm sure it did to you as well.

Rest in Peace, Yasmin Ahmad. You'll be dearly missed.

Footprints in the Sands

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.

Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.

In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.

Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,

other times there were one set of footprints.

This bothered me because I noticed

that during the low periods of my life,

when I was suffering from

anguish, sorrow or defeat,

I could see only one set of footprints.

So I said to the Lord,

“You promised me Lord,

that if I followed you,

you would walk with me always.

But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life

there have only been one set of footprints in the sand.

Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?”

The Lord replied,

“The times when you have seen only one set of footprints in the sand,

is when I carried you.”

Sunday

July 5th.

I just got home after attending the Asian Cultural Night, themed Symphony of Colours. It was pretty awesome. Performances were great, enough to entertain the crowd. Alicia's ballet dance was again mesmerizing, and I was laughing my heart out for the Kadmat Bomman's drama sketch. Dom's hip-hop dance was also entertaining. So proud of my 'sai ti'.

Most were dressed up for the occasion- traditional costume. I wored kurti, and was feeling rather under-dressed actually. Anyways, two thumbs up for the event =)
Sadly, not much pictures taken due to my poor quality of camera phone. Here's a few for the album.

Notice my potte? =)

July 4th.

I had goosebumps after doing this test. Try this out.

Read the question below and come out with an answer.

A woman, while at the funeral of her own mother, met a guy whom she did not know. She thought this guy was amazing. She believed him to be her dream guy so much, that she fell in love with him right there, but never asked for his number and could not find him. A few days later she killed her sister.

Question: What is her motive for killing her sister?

Answer (click your cursor and drag to highlight answer): She was hoping the guy would appear at the funeral again. If you answered this correctly, you think like a psychopath. This was a test conducted by a famous American Psychologist to test if one has the same mentality as a killer. Many arrested serial killers took part in the test and answered the question correctly.

Err. So what's your answer?
